Dear Praying Friends, GOD
ANSWERS PRAYER
Often we share many
prayer requests; some involving the need for funding for this project or that.
But we wanted to share a wonderful blessing with you. Recently I requested
financial help regarding a major painting project for the camp. I was concerned
because it wasn’t until we were in the middle of the project that we found out
there was some damage to the back wall of the building which would cost
approximately 300.00 to repair. Then the painter decided that in order for him
to be able to finish the peaks of the building we needed to bring in a
scaffolding company, price tag - $500.00. Well, that put us $800.00 over budget
and I didn't have the extra money. All we could do is pray and that we did.
Two days later I
drove up to the camp and much to my surprise the building was completely
finished, I couldn’t believe it. I asked the painter how he did it? He told me
that he bought a longer pole with several extensions and then reaching out each
window he began to pray for safety, before he knew it the job was done. Then I
asked him about the damaged wall and he told me that all the materials needed to
do the repair work he found in the storage room. Now the amazing thing is I
don’t know where the materials came from or how it got there. Wow, what a
blessing! God worked in such a fantastic way.
We have finally been
able to purchase another vehicle; we will take possession June 15th. In the
meantime we hope to be able to sell our 1998 Jeep. Thank you for praying about
this vehicle and for those who have given to help with this need.
The New Life summer
children's program has begun. Saturday, May 23rd was our first children's
service since our church moved. It was a great start to the summer with good
attendance, lesson on Ester, games and ice cream for snack. Our 5th annual New
Life VBS is planned for June 23-26th, please pray with us that God will give us
a fruitful summer ministry.
PRAYER REQUESTS: Please remember these additional prayer requests: · Safe travel for the Brenenstahl’s from Slovakia to Albania who will be visiting in June to look over the ministry work here, they are praying about the possibility of working with us in the near future. · The new Ladies Discipleship class, it’s off to a good start. · Adult Cults Study - this is an in-depth course on cults, teaching the how, when & why from a Biblical view.
